Better Mortgage Select's 'Underwriting University' was created in 2021, when our firm decided that we wanted to farm our own future Underwriting talent from the very Universities that our Management Team had all attended in their youth.  We became a recruiter of Commerce Degree students from several Universities across Canada, and this led to fifteen hand-picked students beginning our inaugural class that ran from May 2022, until September 2022.  We are happy to report that it was a major success, as several of the students became full-time and part-time employees with the Company upon graduation; in addition to several of them extending their co-op placements.
